Margaret M. Stock

Margaret M. "Peggy" Stock, age 88, a longtime resident of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Alliance Health at Marina Bay.

Margaret was born in Boston, raised and educated in Dorchester. She was a graduate of the former Cardinal Cushing High School.

Peggy had lived in Quincy for over forty-five years, previously in Boston for many years.

She was employed as a processor in the payroll department of the former New England Telephone Company for over thirty-five years and had been retired for many years.

Peggy was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Church in Quincy.

Peggy enjoyed knitting, going to the casino, and taking care of her cats.

Beloved daughter of the late Joseph M. and Marie A. (Perrault) Stock.

Devoted sister of the late Joseph Stock and his wife Anna (Carullo) Stock, Francis "Mike" Stock and his wife Lorraine (O'Connor) Stock.

Peggy is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.



Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, January 10, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
