Margaret Ann Trimble

Bonnie, I was so saddened to hear about your Mom. The last time I was in Atlanta, I called her but she didn't remember me so I didn't visit her. She and your dad definitely led a wonderful, full life. I loved having her as a neighbor! I particularly got a kick out of how particular she was about the yard. The azaleas between us were mine but I could have cared less about how they were trimmed. One day, she pulled limb by limb to see if I thought it should be trimmed. I told her I would just level them and let them grow back! Of course, she wasn't about to do that! We had many laughs over the years. Wish I could be there for her service.

My family was so saddened to hear of your Mother's recent passing. As next door neighbors for what seemed to be a lifetime, we have some great memories of swimming at your house, enjoying surprise goodies your Mom would bake and bring over and listening to her play the piano. Mrs. T or Mama Peg, as we ended up calling her, could have been the inspiration for Nike's popular promo, Just do it, because that's just what she did. She was never one to sit around and wait for someone to make a move...she was fast on the draw, ready and eager to serve others without expecting any gift in kind. I know you all will miss her, but I'd imagine she's already reunited with your Dad, dancing in the sky.

Mamma Peg or Mrs. T to my Sister Hope & I was like another grandmother. Growing up next door, she treated us like one of her own never missing the opportunity to ring the door bell, hide and watch us in surprise open Easter, Christmas and Birthday presents. Some of our fondest memories as kids were swimming and hosting our Birthday parties at their house. She was a truly a sweet, kind and loving person that will be truly missed. Just glad we got to spend time with her my condolences go out to the entire Trimble family!

My heart is broken! Growing up next door to Mrs. T was one of the best gifts a child could ever receive. All of our grand parents lived in different states, so Mrs. T filled that space in our hearts. From the many birthday pool parties she hosted to being our secret Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. She forever left a mark on our hearts that I will carry with me always. Mrs. T was a living angel spreading her love to all. Even though we haven't see her in years, her spirit lives within all of us. We love you Mrs. T and are so grateful for all of the wonderful memories you gave us!!

May everyone be strengthened with Margaret memories and also with God's love and peace through this time of sadness from Jeremiah 29:11. My condolences!

I enjoyed many hours with Mama Peg at Canterbury Court. Her knowledge of the Bible and music was to be admired. She was loving and kind and such an example of a Southern Lady. Blessings and Peace to all of you as you celebrate her wonderful life.
