It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Margaret (Meg) Williams, age 81, on April 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Meg was born on December 4, 1943, in Memphis, TN, to Rex and Lyn Williams. She spent her formative years in Maryland and Louisiana before moving to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico, where she met the love of her life, Larry. They married in 1966, beginning a happy journey together.

Meg and Larry embraced adventure during their time in the Philippines while Larry served in the Navy, returning to Albuquerque in 1968. Meg was a stay-at-home mom to their children, Shannon and Mark, and helped Larry in his business. In addition, she managed her own small royalty business from home.

A life-long learner, Meg taught herself to play the Autoharp and dedicated time to studying the Catholic faith. She found joy in reading mystery novels, listening to music, and was known for her competitive spirit in card and board games, often emerging victorious against her children and grandchildren. Meg and Larry shared a passion for travel, with Hawaii holding a special place in their hearts as one of their favorite destinations.

Meg is survived by her devoted husband, Larry, and their children, Shannon and her husband Patrick, and Mark and his wife Kara. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Sammi, Madee, Emma, William, and Cameron.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Legacy Hospice and Morningstar Memory Care teams for their compassionate care during Meg's last ten months. They also appreciate the prayers and condolences from friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

A Mass will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. John XXIII Catholic Community. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your favorite cause or the Alzheimer's Association.
