Margery Crover

Margery (Lee) Crover Margery (Lee) Crover, age 86, died May 19, 2016 in Lacey, WA. She was born in Aberdeen, graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1947, attended Grays Harbor Business College and Central Washington College of Education in Ellensburg. She worked as bookkeeper and office secretary for several local businesses, the last was the United Way of Grays Harbor. After retirement, in 1996 she moved to Olympia to be nearer to her sister, Rosemary (Dick) Walrod. She was a long time member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Aberdeen, where she did volunteer work and served as Sunday School Superintendent. In Olympia she joined St. John's Episcopal Church, the Thurston County Women Democrats, worked on the Thurston County Elections Board, and was a Charter Member of the Briggs YMCA. In addition to her sister Rosemary, Margery is survived by sons, Steven (Julia) Wyrick, of Walnut Creek, CA; Neil (Elizabeth) Wyrick, Falmouth ME; and Dale (Maureen) Crover, Los Angeles, CA; by stepson, David Crover, Olympia, WA; step-daughters Suzan Arrington, San Diego, CA and Nancy Armstrong, Oakland, CA; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 11:00 a,m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 20th and Capitol Way in Olympia. lnurnment and graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.
