B.A. (Hon. English)
McGill University 1954
On Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Montreal. Widow of the late J.R. Harper O.B.E. and beloved mother of Celia (Donnie Shannon), Cynthia and Caroline Rhea. Loving grandmother of William, Robert, Matthew and Ava. Sister of the late Mrs. G.M. Beale (Katherine) of Norfolk, England and former wife of the late Dr. L. David Rhea. Funeral at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, 3415 Redpath St, Montreal at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23. Reception at the church to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westmount Library, 4574 Sherbrooke St. W, Westmount, Quebec H3Z 1G1.
I strove with none, for none
was worth my strife.
Nature I loved, and, next
to Nature, Art:
I warm'd both hands
before the fire of Life;
It sinks; and I am ready to depart.
-W.S. Landor

We are all so very sorry to hear of your loss. How very proud your mother must have been of all of you...

Dear Celia Cynthia and Caroline,
I am very saddened to hear of your Mum's passing. I have such fond memories of you all, almost every day of the week after school at Avalon. The Brady Bunch, chocolate pastries and maybe a coke hear and there. Your Mum put up with a lot of us extended family types. Big hugs to the 3 of you, maybe I'll bump into you in Ojai again one day Caroline.
Much love, Caro

What a beautiful photo. Marg was my neighbour growing up in Trois-Rivieres. I have so many fond memories of her and Kay and their parents. Spent many hours with Mrs. Clark and Bob . Seeing the photo brought all that back! Also, Dr. Rhea brought both my children into the world. My deepest sympathies to the girls, I met when they were little. Louise Farmer Paquin
