Our mother was beautiful...not only in appearance but in heart and soul. She loved the Lord and her children more than anything else in the world.
I'm touched seeing all the heartfelt comments and hearing testimonials shared about her. Knowing she was so loved and thought of so highly by others makes me very proud. She was definitely one of a kind and will be remembered with so much affection and laughter too.
I love and miss you, Mom, with all my heart. Critter (Christy)

Can't believe you're not still here, Mama. I got to be your firstborn... the one who got to grow up with you and grow old with you. We've had quite a life together, and in this moment, I wouldn't change a thing. God gave me you for a reason, and I'm so glad you will always be my Mama. See you soon. Eternal love.

Where do I begin?? Christy has been my best friend since the 4th grade. We haven't seen each other in years but when they lived in Waco on Holly Vista I used to spend the night at their house a lot. I loved Margie, she was always so kind to me. I thought she was so beautiful, always had her make up on and never a hair out of place. I admired her bc she raised 6 great kids. I remember one night when I was spending the night she was singing to one of the boys and her voice was beautiful. She sang so beautifully like an angel. I will never forget when Christy and I were sitting on the curb and she told me they were moving. I was so upset bc I didn't want her to move. I never saw them again until years later Christy came to my home to see me. We both were already married. I haven't seen her since but I always called her my best friend since the 4th grade!! Margie never aged and she was still beautiful to the end. I love all of you and I loved your Mama. I'm very sorry for your loss of your beautiful Mother. She was a remarkable woman. (((Hugs))) To you all.Kim

I never met Margie, but I know her daughter, Brenda, and have observed how close-knit Brenda and her siblings are and I think that speaks volumes about the extraordinary woman Margie was. Brenda loves fiercely and laughs freely, even through the storms she has encountered in life, and I´m sure her strength, resilience and determination was modeled for her by her mama. I often saw photos of Margie, and I was always struck by how stunningly beautiful she was. My deepest condolences go out to Brenda and her family, as well as all the others who loved Margie. I pray they find comfort in their memories of Margie-especially the ones of her singing and the ones that make them laugh!-as well as the assurance from God that Margie is in the best place she could be today and that she has a big smile and warm hug with which to greet them again someday.

I often wondered where Margie and her family were, as the last time I got to have the opportunity to visit with her and Brenda was when my son and I had come back up to Colorado Springs for a visit. Margie had always been that bright light, very positive and welcoming and I enjoyed the warmth she allowed you to feel being in her presence. I am so blessed to have known her. She will be so missed, however she is in a much better place and I look forward to seeing her again. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Becky (Corley)Robinson

The world just became a little less kind, a little less loving, a little less inclusive, and a little less accepting. She had the most non-judgmental, unconditional love for her family and those lucky enough to be called her friends. See you soon Aunt Margie. I love you!

I have known Margie since I was a little girl, she has been like family. So much love, laughter, encouragement, and tears shared through the years between us and our families. I always knew that she loved me, that was a blessing
Love to all the family, Jodi Allen
