Marguerite Kennedy

Marguerite (Hildt) Kennedy, 97, of Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook, died on June 8, 2016 at home. She was a former resident of Allentown and Ardmore. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Henry E. and Estella (Meads) Hildt, and the wife of the late Robert H. Kennedy. A graduate of Kutztown State Teachers' College (now Kutztown University), she worked as a public school teacher and as a nurse's aide. She was a long-time member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown, and later of Grace Chapel, Havertown. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Dimick of Gap; a son, the Rev. Dr. Glenn Kennedy of Lockwood, NY; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Another son, Scott, predeceased her.
