Maria DA SILVA Obituary
August 29, 1920 - June 26, 2012
On June 26, 2012, Mrs. Maria Da Silva of Edmonton passed away at the age of 91 years.
Maria is survived by her loving family, Zelia (Isaac) Fontes of Victoria, BC, John (Deborah) Silva, Alda (David) Cordeiro all of Edmonton and Juventina (Cesar) Sousa of Winnipeg, MB; one sister, Constantina Sousa of Winnipeg, MB; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her husband, Jose; one brother and one sister. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Venta Care Centre for their compassionate care shown to Maria.
Memorial Service Monday, July 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Funeral Service Tuesday, July 3 at 9:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel with Pastor Julio Morales officiating. Interment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ADRA Canada, 1148 King Street E., Oshawa, ON L1H 1H8.
