I just found out today!!! I am so truly sorry for your loss...I wish there were words to say or that I can do anything to ease your pain. You have my deepest sympathy. I hurt just knowing you are going through this. Take your time & grieve...but may it comfort you to know she is in Heaven now at peace (w/ La La & Donnie). María gracias por ser mi amiga de niñez y de juventud, que llegamos a conservar a nuestros 70 años, gracias de parte mía y de mi familia por haber demostrado esa amistad sincera en los momentos más difíciles y la tristes con la perdida de mi hija Rosa María, por haber sido una amiga en todo los sentidos de la palabra. Gracias por qué practicaste en mi y en todas las persona que conociste el don de amistad y servicio que Dios te dio.
A Mark, Carol e hijos, Toño, Elba y Tico, recordaremos esa sonrisa y sus carcajadas con las que compartía sus alegrías, las tendremos en nuestros corazones y mentes.

Maria will always have a very special place in my heart and in my family's. She was an unselfish person with her time and always treated me like a daughter. I will forever be thankful for the long hours we spend on the phone when I was college freshman. She knew just what to tell me to keep me going and knew exactly how to help me. I will miss her tremendously.
