Maria was such a lovely person. So talented and sweet. She will be missed deeply, I had a chance to see her a few years ago. I am so glad for those few hours of renewed friendship. Love to you Gail. May the Lord comfort your heart.

Two little Greek girls, my sister and I, had two little Greek friends, Maria and Gail Floros. Our lives were so inter twined with our families, church and love. I will miss Maria's sweet spirit, her forever smiles, her kindness and Grace, and oh her laughter. Her laughter and beautiful voice filled the hearts of so many. I loved her....... and I love you Gail with all my heart. Now there are 3 little Greek girls.

Gail, So sorry for your loss. I will always think of Maria as beautiful, talented, and gracious. It was such a pleasure to hear her sing "Summertime" many years ago. She will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of Maria's passing. Maria was in my Homeroom at IHS class of 1967. She always said hello and was very friendly to everyone. I remember how pretty I always thought she was. Her long black shinning hair was beautiful! RIP Maria. Praying for her family.

Dear Gail, I sang bass in the IHS choir (class of 1966) directed by Vito Mason. Maria was my date at the 1966 IHS senior class all-night party at the high school. At around midnight, some of her friends threw her into the swimming pool. I took her home to change into dry clothes at around 1 AM and your Dad met us at the door. He was so gracious and warm, as was Maria. Although I have not seen her the past 50 years, her passing still brings tears to my eyes. I offer this memory and my deepest condolences.

I got to know Maria as a frequent customer at P&C for the last 21 years.she was always smiling and asking how my daughter was and we would talk about how things were going.
i will miss seeing her in the store at night or calling me to save her a paper.

I'm not sure Maria would've remembered me, but as a fellow Belle Sherman resident (a year behind her in school) I so clearly remember Maria as being a such a wonderful person, and outstanding singer. Most important, she treated everyone well. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

I knew Maria from being a part of the Class of 1967, but it was being with her in choir where we became good friends. I am so sorry for the loss of her beautiful life. Somehow I missed her at the reunion last August even though I was there. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

We are so sorry for your loss. We just last August had a wonderful reunion with Maria over a three hour lunch. My husband and Maria were in the same IHS class and choir. And she played piano for him while he sang to compete for Mr. IHS. The Howells lived on Clover Lane close to your family home so we were great childhood friends. So sad to hear of your loss. She was talented and sweet as the come.
