Maria KUZYK Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom Maria while in Arizona at the age of 81 years.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Wally (Marilyn), Larry, Sandra (Louie); five grandchildren: Tricia, Wally Jr., Kristi, Mitchell and Katie; two great- grandchildren: Cole and Jaelyn, as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Walter and son Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Charles Parish, 17511 - 112 Street, Edmonton, AB at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 10985 - 124 Street, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.

The Turner family has many wonderful memories of our dear neighbor and landlord of the 60's...always a mom, friend, friendly gardener, amongst all the other virtues our dear Maria shared with us. Over the years, we have always maintained contact with Maria and throughly enjoyed her wisdom with each enjoyable visit. Dear Kuzyk family and Flora: I remember Maria back in Luscar at school: when she met and married Walter and as a young wife and mother, We, at the Coal Branch events will miss her hugs and enthusiasm. I am glad I got a lot of hugs this last summer when we camped beside Maria and Flora on the Cadomin Flats and remember when Maria visited our mother just after her 100 birthday.
