Maria-Luise Westgate Obituary
Maria was the loving wife of Mark Westgate and a devoted mother to Shannon; Michael and his wife Carrie; Stephen and his partner Julianna; and Anneka Whitney. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren, Joseph Carlson and Lucas Westgate, and to her great-granddaughter, Kylee Carlson. She was a cherished sister to Edgar Larrivee and cousin to Mark Larrivee.
She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Windmuller; her beloved Aunt Blanche Larrivee; and her parents Lisolotte and Edgar Larrivee.
Throughout her life, Maria embodied generosity and kindness. She never failed to show up for others in need, offering support with quiet strength and unwavering dedication. Her nurturing spirit touched many-whether through a warm meal from her kitchen or a comforting word during difficult times.
Maria found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved traveling and camping, often seeking out new places with a sense of adventure. Her flowers bloomed under her care, much like the relationships she cultivated throughout her life. Baking brought her happiness-and delicious treats to those around her. Her LM group lunches were treasured gatherings that reflected the deep friendships she maintained over the years. She loved her getaways to Las Vegas, where laughter, late nights, and lifelong memories were made with close friends.
In keeping with her lifelong commitment to helping others, Maria made the selfless decision to donate organs at the end of her life-a final act of compassion that will continue to impact lives beyond her own.
Maria was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
May her legacy of love and generosity bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

I am so thankful I got to know Maria through Stephen. She immediately made me feel welcome and cared about, and that continued for years. She always made time to stop and chat when we´d run into each other, and she never failed to make me feel special. She is a truly beautiful soul who will be missed by many!

Maria and her husband Mark have been a part of our family since I can remember so much like we're part of the family as well, I can remember cooking outs at your home and so many more memories and you always made us feel welcome. You were a great friend to my Aunt and Uncle and I know they miss you dearly, I can't even imagine how my aunt felt when she heard the news. Maria was best friends with my uncle and aunt but she was more than that! Her and her husband became part of our entire family and would have all our backs. They loved us as much as we loved them. Completely unselfish and amazing people. Her loss is sad but we all know she will always be with us and watching over us

Maria and I were dear friends for almost 40 years. We were each other´s keepers of secrets and cohorts in mischief during Liberty Mutual´s `golden years´.
In addition to her warmth, generosity, and kindness, which she had in abundance, she was always willing to share, or perhaps start, a little naughtiness. Leaving that `sparkle´ out, would be an injustice to our Maria.
My dear friend, I hope you are in a place of beauty, peace and light. I will keep you close to my heart until we meet again.
