My second Mom. She helped shape my life. Maria, was very strong, intelligent and she knew every time when we were lying. As kids and all throughout my life. She and her family never really knew how much they impacted my life in a positive way. I'm a white boy but was raise Mexican. I'm very very fortunate to have had ALL the Macias in my life. she taught me so much when I was with her I love and respect her and I will miss her so much even though I am so far away I still think about her every time I make rice and pozole and enchiladas , she was the best cook and teacher to me

I love and will miss you even though I'm not technically part of the family anymore you will always be my family forever. I'm devastated and my daughter is even more devastated. Much love to you and all the family.
