MARIA
Of Highland Park, on Friday, February 16, 2018, age 77. Beloved wife of the late Juan F. Paletta; mother of John D. Paletta, MD (Amy), Frank Paletta, DMD, MD; (Staci, DMD), Rosa M. Richard (Raymond); nanna of Nina, MD, Mia, Anthony, Ava, Gianfranco, Marco and Jesse; sister of Francesco Lepera, Rosa Gentile, the late Teresa Lamanna, and Vincenzo Lepera. Maria emigrated from Savelli, Italy, to Pittsburgh in 1968. She enjoyed her garden and cooking for family and friends. Her gnocchi were legendary. Friends received at MCCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside, on Sunday 4-8 p.m., where Funeral will commence on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 10 a.m. Condolences may be left at:
