In Montreal, on August 24, 2012. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria who was tragically taken from us at the age of 30 years. She leaves behind her loving husband Billy Klouvatos, her parents Konstantinos and Konstantina Pantazopoulos, her brother George Pantazapoulos, her parents-in-law Jeannie and Panagioti Klouvatos, her sisters- in-law Olivia and Thea Klouvatos. The family will receive condolences at Yves Légaré, on August 28 and 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 30th at 12 p.m. at Koimisis Tis Theotokou Church, 7700 de l'Épée, Montreal.

My deepest condolences to the mother father, brother, cousins and Billy for this horrific tragedy! Still thinking of this every day and it doesn't want to go away! I look at her pictures and I ask many questions! Even though I knew u guys (Billy and Maria) briefly, its very sad and I am hurting! Like a lot of you that read about this tragedy in the news, I feel compelled to offer my sympathies.
I never got the chance to meet Maria, but from what I gather she was an extremley remarkable individual.
Maria, you left this world way too soon, and only god knows why.
The only thing I can summarize is, god was short of angels.
To her husband, and family...I have no wise words to offer you, nobody does...But take comfort in the fact that you have a lot of strong shoulders to cry on, and a lifetime of memories that she left behind.
May god give you the strength to move on.
All of you are in my thoughts, and prayers.
It only takes a second to say hello, and forever to say goodbye...

Trying to finds words that encompass the incredible loss we are all feeling, would be pointless; there are no words, sadly. On June 9th, we laughed and danced with you and shared in your newly married joy - today we mourn with you, equally sharing in your grief.
While we cannot lessen the pain of what you are feeling, Billy, please take what comfort you can from knowing that our hearts are with you and silently lending you strength.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
