Maria Quinonez of Andrews, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Andrews, Texas. A visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, from 5pm-8pm at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.
Maria was born in Juarez, Mexico to Eulojio Mendiola and Maximina Rivera Mendiola. Maria grew up in El Paso, Texas, and married Fernando Quinonez Sr. in 1977. They moved to Andrews in 1980. Maria enjoyed cooking for her family, and spending time in the kitchen. She loved to travel, especially her motorcycle rides, and she also enjoyed camping. She was proud to be a resident of Andrews. she was known to always lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Fernando Quinonez, Sr of Andrews, Texas, daughter, Corina Quinonez and her children, Sonny, Maria and Jahir all of San Angelo, Texas sons, Fernando Quinonez, Jr. and wife Aurora and their children, Christopher, Fernando, and Cattleya all of Odessa, Texas, and Jose Quinonez and wife Alexis and their son Henry all of Andrews, Texas, brother, Jose Lorenzo Mendiola of El Paso, Texas, sister, Rosalia Mendiola of San Antonio, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and grandchild, Michael.

Recuerdo cuando vinieron a visitarnos Y los llevamos un poco a conocer Ohio recuerdo que Maria me trajo un regalo no recuerdo como lo llamó ella pero yo lo llamo una manga para poner bolsas de plástico ella me contó que ya las había hecho y todavía tengo ese regalo y lo uso todos los días qué Dios la tenga en su santa gloria. My mother was a loving, caring, and great mom all around, she loved cooking riding the motorcycle with my dad. she loved having family and friends over. She was always willing to help anybody that needed her. I will miss her with all my heart. my kids got to see how wonderful she was even if it was for a short time. MOM I LOVE YOU and always will.
