Eureka - Marianne Keough, 88, previously of East Peoria, IL, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Carle Eureka Hospital.

She was born on March 14, 1935 in Lincoln, IL to Harry and Grace Griffin Sisk. She married Bernard J. Keough Jr. on November 15, 1952. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2007.

Surviving is one son, Michael (Colleen) Keough of Morton; four daughters, Laurie (John) Hanson of Germantown Hills, Kathy (Don) Baker of Guyton, GA, Patty (Mike) O'Bryan of Crossville, TN and Marie (Bob) Schlesinger of East Peoria; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Marianne was a homemaker and also worked at Key Industry retiring in 2000. She was an avid Cub fan and traveled with her husband to Mesa, AZ several years for the Cubs Spring Training. She also enjoyed golf, bowling and family vacations to Carolina Beach.

Services will be held October 14, 2023 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Eureka with Fr. Ryan Mattingly officiating. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church in Eureka, Apostolic Christian Home Eureka and TAPS Animal Shelter in Pekin.

We want to give a special thank you to those who were caregivers for our Mother especially at Apostolic Christian Home, Carle Eureka Hospital and Carle Hospice of Normal.

The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com
