Marie Lise May Gaulin

Marie Lise May Gaulin, 82, of Annapolis and Punta Gorda, FL died Friday July 11, in Saylorsburg, PA. Born: May was born in Ste. Honore, Quebec, Canada. She graduated from nursing school at Laval University in Montreal. It was there that she met her beloved, J. Claude Gaulin and with him began her vocation her family. Her 50 year journey with Claude took her to NY, Oklahoma and finally to Easton, Pennsylvania and Punta Gorda, FL where lightness was always in her heart. It is in Easton where she laid her husband and her son, Robert, to rest, and it is there that she too transitioned. Home. Personal: May "took care of the world", as one of her oldest friends said. She spent her time loving and caring for her family and giving to many others in need. Listing all of the organizations she gave of her self to are too numerous to mention for she gave everywhere and anywhere and anytime. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Most important in May's life was her faith and love of God. Her devout Catholicism began at an early age with the Sisters in St Honore and continued strongly until her death, where she was found holding her rosary. And then, there was mahjong! She loved the game, the company of "the girls" and of course, when she won a quarter. Survivors: May is survived by her sister Edna Meagher, her brothers Lewis and Martin Ryan all of Quebec; her sons Mark of Severna Park, MD and Mike of Crownsville, MD and her daughter Gigi of Pilot, VA; her grandchildren Matt, Andrew, Meghan and Joseph. And her many friends and other relatives. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue in Palmer Twp., PA. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer from 6-8 PM.
