MARTIN (nee McDonald) MARIE Raymond, sons Christopher and Adrian daughter Lorna and Peggy Devlin sister of Marie wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
We extend thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their overwhelming kindness and support. Those who sent mass cards, messages of sympathy, provided refreshments came to the wake or attended the requiem mass and funeral. We are very grateful to Dr Joseph and all the Staff in Moneymore Medical Centre to Ursula Storey District Nurse and Orla McKenna hospice nurse, Stephen McKay and Staff at Glovers Pharmacy for their care and attention to Marie at home, the Doctors and Nurses in the Mid-Ulster Hospital, A3 and Laurel House Staff and special thanks to Oncologist Dr Patterson. Thanks also to the PSNI for assistance with traffic control at the funeral. Our gratitude to Fr Breslin P.P., Fr Quinn and Fr Gates who visited the house and provided comfort and spiritual guidance throughout Marie's illness. To Fr Breslin who celebrated the Requiem Mass, the alter servers, Emmett and Roisin for the beautiful music and singing during the funeral mass and Michelle Smith for playing the bagpipes and the pupils of
St Malachy's P.S and Holy Trinity College for providing a guard of honour. Thanks also to the grave
diggers, Gerry Neeson and Kieran Kirk who carried out the funeral arrangements in a dignified manner.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.
Marie's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in
St Malachy & St Josephs Church, Drummullan on Sunday May 3rd at 11.00am.
Drummullan, Drumnaglough and Bettystown
