Marie Tintori Santo, 75, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at 4:45 a.m. at Havencrest Nursing Home, Carroll Township. Born Feb. 16, 1936, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Bruna "Bernice" Bartoletti Tintori. A resident of Rostraver Township, Mrs. Santo was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, was a homemaker and a member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Sadowski, of Norwalk, Conn.; sister, Lillian Antal, of Belle Vernon; and two grandchildren, Brooke Beck and husband, Jason and Nicole Rainey; a niece, Linda Zabawsky and husband, Stephen, of Mt. Lebanon; nephew, David Antal, of Perryopolis; and several other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Santo, on Feb. 12, 2011; and two sisters, Gloria Levi and Elaine Valdiserri. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ladies from the Anita Garibaldi Society will conduct services at 2:30 p.m., and members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Marie Santo, Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
