Marie E. Shea

Marie E. Shea (McLaughlin) of Westwood, MA passed away on June 4 after a brief illness. She was the loving mother of seven children: Barbara Shea of Westwood, Maureen and her husband Rich Moynihan of Norwood, Rob and his wife Elaine of Medfield, Ted and his wife Yifei of Boston, Rich of Foxboro, Michael and his wife Michelle of Westwood, and Linda and her husband Dan Constantine of Westwood. She was the adored nana of nineteen grandchildren and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her two sisters, Maggie Pellegrino of Arlington and Kitty Smith of Norwell. She was predeceased by brother Frankie McLaughlin, and sisters Dotsy Conroy and Nancy Bardsley.
Marie's greatest joy was spending time with her family and dear friends. She loved music, dancing, and playing cribbage and whist with her many friends at the Norwood Senior Center. She worked at C.H. Powell in Canton for many years. Her bright smile, kindness, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. A wake will be held on Thursday, June 9 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Folsom Funeral Services on High Street in Westwood. Private interment and private celebration of life at a later date.
