Marie VanDeMark Obituary
Her family includes her husband, Richard VanDeMark Jr. whom she married on May 19, 2001 at their home on Orwell Hill; her mother, Agnes "Becky" Bryan; brothers, William "Butch" Bryan, Daniel Bryan and wife Dawn; sister, Deborah Strobridge and husband Robert all of East Smithfield; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beverly and James Lake of Durell; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kristie and Brent Payne of Ashland, Pa., Cheyenne and Dan Smith of Smethport, Pa.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joshua and Kirstie Lake of Athens; nephews, Kyle Stage and wife Kara, Nicholas Bryan and wife Jan, Matthew Bryan all of East Smithfield, Garrett VanDeMark of Philadelphia, Pa., Christopher Payne of Ashland, Pa., Ricky Payne of Ashland, Pa., Gunner Lake of Athens; nieces, Aaliah Smith and Zepher Smith both of Smethport, Pa.; special cousin, Joyce Farley of Dushore, Pa; several additional cousins and her beloved canine companion, Morgan.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, William A. Bryan in 1992; sister, Rose Ann Bryan in 1995; father-in-law, Richard VanDeMark Sr. in 2004 and brother- in-law, James E. Finnerty.
Abiding with Marie's request, a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the Northeast Bradford School girls soccer or girls softball programs, P.O. Box 94, Rome, PA 18837, in Marie T. VanDeMark's memory. The Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home of Towanda, Pa. is assisting Marie's family with arrangements. Memories and condolences may be expressed by visiting www.bowenfuneralhomes.com.
