We are sad to hear this news. Mariel made a "Winnie the Pooh" birthday cake for my son, Langston's 1st birthday; he's now 10yrs. She always baked something for our family gatherings. Praying for all to receive comfort during this time. Sending special hugs and love to Nicolas from his cousins in Cincinnati.

My condolences to the family including my 2nd cousin Nicolas. Mariel would always "light up the room" with her beautiful smile at our holiday gatherings.

Carolina, Don Jorge, Doñas Maria Elena y Aurora,
It has been more than 20 years since speaking with all of you but it does not dull the sadness felt when I read about Mariel's passing. I still remember the last time I ran into Mariel when she still lived in Toronto.
Please accept mine, my parents and my families deepest condolences for the loss of someone so important to all your lives.

Dear Mariel and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mariel's passing. She was a true delight and ray of sunshine. I had the pleasure of working with her and becoming friends with her when she was in Cincinnati. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I only knew you for a short period of time, but I will never forget your cheerful personality and lovely smile!
Very sad -too young, too soon.

Dearest Mariel,
We worked together many years ago but we had the pleasure of being friends for those years you lived in Toronto. I was waiting to get your Chili recipe from you and now see you have left us way too early. I send my deepest condolences to your family. Hugs to everyone. Angela Z your friend you made at the Park Hyatt Toronto.
