Marilyn Audy Obituary

BENSON - Marilyn Ruth Audy, 86, of Benson, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Mountain View Center in Rutland.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1930, in Danby, the daughter of Cecil and Margaret (Lockyer) Price.
Mrs. Audy graduated from the Burr and Burton Seminary in Manchester.
She had been employed a few years as a waitress in Manchester prior to her marriage. She and her husband operated a dairy farm in Danby from c.1950 until 1968 when they relocated to Benson where they continued to farm.
Mrs. Audy had been a member of the Benson Home Dem Club for several years.
She enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching the birds.
Survivors include three daughters, Elaine Audy, of Wallingford, Charlene "Effie" Galarneau and her husband, Rick, of Benson, and Mary Albert and her husband, Bruce, of Hartland; a son, Gary Audy, of Benson; a grandson, Seth Galarneau and his wife, Makayla, of Castleton; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Maurice Audy, on June 23, 2010; and two brothers, Edward Price and Maurice Price.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Patrick Church in Wallingford. Burial will follow in the St. Jerome's Cemetery in East Dorset.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Aldous Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the Audubon Society-Vermont, 255 Sherman Hollow Road, Huntington, VT 05462.
