Marilyn I. Dahl passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on February 14, 2012, after a brief illness. Marilyn was born October 24, 1925 in Kansas City, MO to Winifred and Samuel DeCamp. For 15 years she was a City Librarian in Mequon, WI. Marilyn had made her home in Phoenix for the last 28 years. She most recently resided at The Terraces Assisted Living, where she played bridge, pruned roses, followed the Cardinals and Diamondbacks, read stacks of books and faithfully attended Saturday night services at her church. She is survived by her devoted children Linda Dahl Vogl, Christine Hanson (Michael), Julie Hetzel, Larry Dahl and Robert Dahl, Jr. (Judy); 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Robert Dahl and her two brothers, Robert DeCamp and Samuel DeCamp. A Memorial Service to be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15649 N 7th St., Phoenix, AZ 85022 followed by burial at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church; or to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
