Marilyn Eggleston Obituary
She was born July 17, 1938, daughter of the late Harold and Ella (Rice) Peck in Bainbridge.
Marilyn married Luther Eggleston on Oct. 19, 1955, in Unadilla. He predeceased her Sept. 14, 1984.
She was employed as an assembler for Amphenol in Sidney when she retired.
Marilyn was an avid New York Yankee and Derek Jeter fan.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Gary Eggleston and Doreen White, Mount Upton, and Jeffery Eggleston, Bainbridge; daughter and a son-in-law, Valerie and Mark Hafele, Unadilla; grandchildren, Justin, Chris, Greg and Bridgitt Eggleston, Matt and Keli Hafele, and Darcee and Mike Lewis; great-grandchildren, Austin, Braden and Cameron Eggleston, Kaylen Lewis, Justice Eggleston; brother, Bill Peck, Bainbridge; sisters-in-law, Louise Eggleston, Bainbridge, Karen Eggleston, Bainbridge, and Ida Peck, Montana; special buddy, Jake her dog; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to Hospice of Chenango Co., 21 Hayes St., Norwich.
Arrangements by C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney.
