Marilyn Hofrichter Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 18, 2025.
Marilyn Sica Hofrichter, 98 of Upper St Clair and previously of Mt Lebanon and Pinehurst, NC, passed peacefully on July 9, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William and Geraldine Sica of Nemacolin, PA. She graduated from Wayensburg College and received her RN from Presbyterian Hospital. Marilyn's nursing skills were utilized in her job at St. Clair Hospital and generously shared with her family and friends. She met her beloved husband Jim, on a blind date, and they enjoyed 68 beautiful years together prior to his passing in 2019. Their love for one another and the fun they shared was inspirational to those around them. Marilyn enjoyed entertaining family, travel, golf and dinner dances. In later years, she looked forward to weekly gatherings with four generations of her family. Marilyn is survived by Patty of Santa Clara, CA, Nancy (Terry) Hojdila of Aliquippa, PA and Susan Hofrichter-Watts (Robb Watts) of Upper St. Clair, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Jaime and Todd Hojdila, Jeremiah (Abigail) Watts, Leah Watts (Brandon Arroyo) and Jessica Hofrichter Dalton and great-grandchildren Lucca Arroyo, Emelyne Watts and Tate Hojdila. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill Sica and nephew Stephen Sica.
