Marilyn Gail Sandi (Dosher)

Marilyn left her earthly body in Santa Ana on October 2, 2011, at the age of 63 and was received into the arms of Jesus and the faithful who have gone before us.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Thelma Dosher, Clovis, NM, and 4 brothers,  Frank JR, Preston, Harold, and Kenneth and 2 sisters, Joyce McGuire and Koleta Lucente.
Marilyn leaves behind her husband, Jimmy Sandi of Indian Wells; one brother, Lanny (Sheila) Dosher, Weatherford, TX, and 3 sisters, Carmelita Holland, Roswell, NM, Shirley (Pat) Patteson, Fairport, NY, and Darla Stanley, Atwater, CA.  Also 3 additional  sisters-in-law, Carol Dosher, Orange, Joyce Dosher, Clovis, NM, and Gail Sandi, Lake Forest. She is also survived by more than 30 nephews and nieces and 50 plus great nephews and nieces, many cousins, friends and business associates.  Marilyn will be remembered by her family for her ability to bring laughter, joking and fun into our family times.  We will miss her hugs and special smiles.
Marilyn was born on September 28, 1948, in Clovis, NM. She was the youngest of the 11 children born to Frank and Thelma Dosher.  Marilyn attended school in Texico, NM, before moving to Orange with her parents and brother in 1963.  After graduating from Orange High School in 1967, Marilyn was employed by Pacific AT&T for several years.  She met and married Jimmy Sandi on February 4, 1974. Marilyn was a business woman and owner of CLOC for many years in Santa Ana until her death.  She and her husband maintained a home in Indian Wells where Marilyn loved to go for her getaway weekends.   Marilyn was also a great lover of any animal in her sight and had numerous pets over her lifetime.
Friends are invited to join the family at Waverly Chapel one hour before A Celebration Of Life service on Tuesday, October 18th at 2:30 pm at the Fairhaven Memorial Park & Morturary at 1702 Fairhaven, Santa Ana, CA, 714-633-1442  There will be no prior calling hours.  Private  interment.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Orange County Humane Society 21632 Newlands St. Hunting beach CA 92646 in Marilyn's memory.
