I was fortunate to spend time with Marilyn toward the last, and cherish that time. Marilyn was indeed a remarkable woman, and she was and is loved. We will always remember her and Ken, and the time we shared.

I am so sad to hear about Marilyn. I received an email today letting me know of her passing. Marilyn was one of my most cherished customers. I always admired her positive attitude. Even in the face of illness and death, she remained cheerful and happy. We had a good time picking out things for her kitchen and bathroom. I enjoyed listening to her stories along the way. I passed on the news to Jim Macpherson who was her installer for those projects and he is equally saddened by her death. This touches close to home for him as his wife, Amy, is a breast cancer surviver. Marilyn will be missed by all here at Kitchen Solvers and Kircher Design and Build.

Alex and Suzie,

It's so hard to see a love one and a family member pass away. Especially at a young age. Marilyn will definitely be missed, but the strength and love she always showed will live on in all of us. She will always be in our hearts.

Alex and Suzi There was never enough time in the day for all of your mothers projects she needed to have done around her house and cabin. Over the last ten years we became very good friends. She was always so gracious, so kind, and generous. It was a joy to work for her and your dad. She always had a smile on her face and maybe another project on her mind. She fought a courageous battle with dignity and grace. My wife and I were fortunate enough to know her and your dad for just a short time. She will truly be missed. May God bless your family and friends in this time of sorrow.

I never once saw Marilyn in a weak state. She radiated strength and positivity every time I saw her. She was always such a cute petite little mom and I specifically remember her toting giant boxes and helping us move into our Ashton Brooke apartment:)

Dear Thompson family, I knew Marilyn when
Suzanne was at Valley School and people often
said that we looked very much alike. Even though
I was 8 years older we laughed about being
sisters. Marilyn was so much fun and I will
always remember how nice is was to have known
her. I am in Florida at this time and would like
To send my prayers and thoughts to all of you.

Suzi & Alex,
Your mother was one of the nicest, friendliest, giving people I have ever known. If she knew you, you were part of her family and you could do no wrong. I will miss her. I was so impressed with the way she handled her last years. She set goals and met them.

My condolences to both of you.
