Marina Recio Obituary
Marina Recio passed away on June 23, 2024 at Kingsville-Christus Spohn Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Premont, Texas to Ysidro Recio and Guadalupe Cadena on September 7, 1929. In addition to her parents, Marina was preceded in death by her siblings: Maria R. Cadena, Antonio Recio, Trinidad R. Benavides, Santos R. Muñoz and Hector Recio. She is survived by her sister Elva R. Amaya, her son Jose Oscar Pérez and her daughter-in-law Rosa Canales, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
During her lifetime Marina worked in Premont, Corpus Christi and Kingsville in the capacity of bank cashier, office manager and bookkeeper.
As per her request, the burial will be private.

OUR SINCEREST CONDOLENCES EXTENDED TO ALL THE RECIO FAMILIES IN PREMONT ON MARINAS PASSING.
I WILL REMEMBER MARINAS HOSPITALITY,FRANKNESS AND COOKING SKILLS.SHE SHARED HER INGREDIENTS FOR PRESERVE TO MAKE FRIENDSHIP CAKE.HER TURCOS EMPANADAS WERE DELICIOUS.SHE WAS QUITE TALENTED AND SKILLED IN NEEDLEPOINT ART WORK.
OUR BROTHER IN LAW WAS LUPE RECIO FROM PREMONT.
