Marion Bairnsfather Obituary
Beloved wife of the late Hartwell Bairnsfather.
Daughter of the late Raymond Delord Sr. and Irma Leonard Delord.
Sister of the late, Raymond Delord Jr.
She is survived by her loving son, Kent Bairnsfather (Barbara).
Loving grandmother of Kent Jr., Brian (Charlene), and Mark (Teri) Bairnsfather and Vicki Spillers ( Mark).
Proud great-grandmother of Abigail, Ethan, Julia, Grant, Logan and Blaise Bairnsfather and Madigan Spillers.
She was born on February 27, 1921 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Metairie.
The Family would like to thank the staff of Fidelis Care for their exceptional care and support over the past three years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Christopher Catholic Church 309 Manson Avenue Metairie, LA., on Monday December 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Father Frank Candalisa Celebrant.
Visitation from 10:30 until time of services.
Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Kent and Barbara,
Sometimes words cannot say what the heart feels. Aunt Marion was one of a kind. She was also my godmother, what a gift. But, she was even more, your mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and a friend. How can you be more blessed. She is watching over all of you. God bless all of you. The peace of the lord be granted in your heart and memories forever.

Kent, Barbara & Family: Our heartfelt sympathy to the Entire Bairnsfather Family. Your Mother was a Special Lady & a kind person to have known through the years. She is now Resting in Heaven in the Arms of Our Dear Lord. She has been given her Crown of Eternal Life through her faith. Our prayers are with the Family during this most difficult time. Dear Kenny & Barbara, So very sorry to learn of your Mom's death. I still remember her from the old neighborhood when I was little and you were our paper boy. I can remember your Mom walking home down Zinnia from the Airline bus after work many days. Lots of time she would stop and talk with my Mom for a while. I know she is in a better place now but it doesn't stop the hurt from missing her. Please know that all of you are in our prayers. Dianne Thomas Roberts
