Marion Elsie STOREY

Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday December 18, 2022, at age 92, with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband, Don Storey, in 1994. Her loss is immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed and remembered always. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Lynda and Joe Latella (Tennessee), Carol and Steve Yoksimovich (Trenton), David and Victoria Carter (Markham), Wayne and Kim Carter (Uxbridge), Van and Jennifer Carter (Pefferlaw), Jill and Peter Gauthier (Port Elgin) and Sheryl and Mike Corcoran (Markham). Loving grandmother to grandchildren Raymond, Jennifer, Joey, Ashleigh, Anthony, Christine, Stephen, Harrison, Justin, Cory, Nicole, Jeffrey, David, Camden, and Clare. The look on her face whenever she held any of her 25 great-grandchildren, or 5 great-great grandchildren was proof her love knew no bounds. Predeceased by her siblings Thelma Hussey, Beryl McAteer, Roland Black, Beatrice Bliss, and Doreen Fitzgerald who are no doubt thrilled to have her with them again. Thank you to the staff of Union Villa for their care over the past five years, especially nurse Veronica and PSW Mai who took exemplary care of our precious mother and gave us such peace of mind when we knew she was in their hands. Our gratitude also to the doctors and nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their kindness and for doing their best to keep our mom comfortable. A private family funeral service will be held in January. Donations to Alzheimer's research would be appreciated.
