Marion Angelo Teachworth

Marion Angelo Teachworth "Angy", 74, a life long resident of Birmingham AL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29th 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin William and Gladys W. Teachworth, brother John, sister Billie Mary Anne, brother Robert, and daughter Anna Celeste Harmon.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Miriam H. Teachworth, thier daughters Larissa T. Root (Sean) Rebecca Jane Teachworth (Barry R. King) , his daughter Maryjane Emily Counts (Stephen) , granddaughters Holly C. Adams (Landon), Ashleigh N. Moore (Zachery), Natalie Johnson Brock (Chris), Margaret G. Root, Ella G. Harmon, grandson Wesley B. Harmon, sisters Francis T. Bonacci, Lynn T. Waddle (Greg), and brother Melvin Teachworth (Becky).

Angy attended Woodlawn Highschool and continued his education at ITT Technical Institute where he received an associates degree in electronics. He was a jack of all trades, working in many different fields such as auto mechanic, electronic repair and retail, a radio DJ at WVOK-AM, warehouse manager at Danka Photocopy, volunteer police officer, and Jefferson County Court Bailiff.

He was passionate about music, especially rock and roll and Motown, leading him to have his own band for a short period of time where he played keyboard and preformed vocals. Angy equally loved cars and motorcycles as much as music, with the Ford Mustang his favorite. He tried his skills racing cars at the Lassiter Mountain Raceway, for which he continued to hold fond memories. He traded those adventures and skills and moved on to providing for his family and worked hard for many years.

Services will be held on Saturday November 19th 2022 with visitation at 12pm, service at 1pm held at
