San Angelo, TX

Marissa Yvonne Sandoval, 20, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 11, 2018, in San Angelo.

Rosary services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Marissa was born July 28, 1998 in San Angelo where she graduated from Central High School in 2016. Marissa always knew how to light up the room when she walked in with her contagious smile. From the time she was born she has been filling our lives with love and laughter. She loved animals especially her dogs, Smokey, Princess, Kaayne, Kilo and Ace. Marissa loved music and her San Antonio Spurs. She liked the simple things in life. Marissa always knew how to lift your spirits. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Loved ones waiting to greet her in Heaven were her great grandmother, Anna Sandoval and other family members.

Survivors include her mother, Jessica Villa of San Angelo; her father, Pedro Sandoval, III and wife Nicole of Big Lake; a brother, Sebastian Sandoval of Big Lake and two sisters, Mariah Hill of Austin and Natalea Hill of Big Lake; maternal grandparents, Alberto and Bertha Villa of San Angelo; paternal grandmother, Margie Canava and husband Tony of San Angelo; paternal grandfather, Pedro Sandoval, Jr. of Big Lake; paternal great grandmother, Theresa Flores of Ft. Worth; paternal great grandfather, Israel Flores and wife of St. Louis, Missouri; an aunt, Ashley Castro of San Angelo; three uncles, Mario Villa, Orlando Villa and wife Corinna Belmann-Villa and Marcus Andrew Villa all of San Angelo; and many cousins in San Angelo and Del Rio.

The family wishes to thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers and donations.

Two things I will never forget about you Marrissa. One almost every time we worked the same day at the state school you was always eating something.Ok three things cause I will never forget those chicken enchiladas you took to work for everybody to eat they were delicious hate to admit it but they were better then mine. And last thing is that Big o smile u always walked in with. Glad I got to meet u. Thank u for all the laughs. Will miss you girl.
