Margie was a gracious and loving woman. She became my Step Mother in my 40's and became a true friend. She embraced my children, always welcoming us, whether in Wayne, Duxbury or Sanibel. They will always remember shelling shrimp with her by the canal. She inspired me with her love of gardening and singing. I will miss her. God Speed.....

Margie was a gracious and loving woman. She became my Step Mother in my mid 40's, she embraced my children and was a true friend. Her love of gardening and singing inspired me. I will miss her, but wish her God speed as she adventures forth.

So many rare qualities stand out thinking of Margie's legacy. Watching how Margie cared for her parents... the compassion, empathy, and love she demonstrated, and the lengths she went to for them always impressed me. Her generosity of spirit, her eagerness to celebrate everyone else, her humility, and her kindness made lasting impressions. I can clearly see her watching over her family, beaming, with that beautiful smile, and embracing the joy!

Cherished friend, mother-in-law, mentor, role model, cheerleader, grandmother-supreme, go-to person for discussions about books, AND MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MORE! Taught me how to grow and appreciate gardens, how to care for pets, wildlife and children, and how to gather loved ones close. There was no warmer feeling than arriving at her home after the drive from New England. I will miss her greatly.
