Of Glenshaw, on Monday, February 4, 2002; aunt of Jean M. Hodil of Cincinnati, OH, Earl H. Hodil of Stevensville, MD and Helen Hodil Rathburn of Olmsted Falls, OH; daughter of the late Frank and Sarah May Hodil; sister of the late Earl E. Hodil. Friends will be received THURSDAY ONLY 2-4 & 7-9 at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, www.bockltd.com. where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am. Marjorie taught school for the Shaler Area Schools for 34 years and then the Hillel Academy for over 15 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church, 1520 Butler Plank Rd., Glenshaw, PA 15116 or The Pittsburgh Vision Services, 300 South Craig St., Pgh., PA 15213.

As a young adult I grew up being a neighbor of Marge. She was a very gracious women whom I fondly remembered through out my years.

Just wanted to let Ms. Hodil's family know what a special and inspirational teacher she was. I will always appreciate her and had the opportunity to let her know that in a letter I wrote to her many years ago. My thoughts are with you.....
