Marjorie B. Megson (age 93) Born December 17, 1919 in Storm Lake, Iowa at rest December 29, 2012 .
Devoted daughter of George and Grace Mittlestadt (nee: Hughs)
Beloved wife of the late John P. Megson
Loving mother of Michael Megson, Barbara (Dave) Passafiume, Patricia (Richard) Turkington and Deborah Megson (Ronald Dachman).
Cherished grandmother of John, Steve, Jim and Karen Megson. Chris (Rachel) Bernhardt, Tracey (Ryan) Laverya, Clare Turkington (Alex Morrison), Lauren Megson Dachman and Kelsey Megson Dachman, Great grandmother of Olivia Megson, Lucas Megson, Joshua Megson, Maddox. Adylee, Parker and Finn, Christopher and Chandler. Survived by brother Jim Mittlestadt of Stormlake Iowa where Marjorie was born. Marjorie was an aunt to many and a friend to all. Visitation and Funeral Service: 11:30 am Friday January 4, 2012 at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home 11333 S. Central Ave. Oak lawn, Il Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery South Cemetery.708-636-1200

Thank you for the love and stability you gave to my children. The grandkids all display the Megson athleticism and sportsmanship! I remember when John and Marj got their first color TV to watch the Olympics! I also learned many things.like how to cook, make yeast rolls and chocolate chip pie,and grow things,as well as calm a colicky baby!

Grandma...I have great memories with you and Grandpa in NC, at the Beach, and in Chicago. You both took such great of us as kids and I loved you so much and am really happy you are now in heaven with Grandpa. Thank you for all your love and attention....You have helped mold me into a caring and loving parent. Josh and Lucas both are doing great as young children. I will think of you often. I will choose to celebrate your life and all your great accomplishments and love towards the Megson Family! Love Steve
