Marjorie Eloise Nunes

MARJORIE ELOISE NUNES Born in Oakland, CA, on July 24, 1921 and passed away at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley on September 24, 2004 at the age of 83. She grew up with her siblings, Edward (Ralph) Burns and the late Duane Burns. She married Robert J. Nunes on January 31, 1942 and they had 2 children, John R. Nunes (Peggy) and Gregory D. Nunes (Linda). Margie was the perfect grandmother to Jeff Nunes, Jeremy Nunes, Melissa Alvarez and Joni Ohm and great grandmother to Jessica, Jeffery, Jason, Nathanial and Katie. She was a very active woman and especially loved her sewing club, dance class and Dixieland Jazz festivals. Marge's family would like to acknowledge the outstanding care provided by the staff at Eden Medical Center. A Memorial Service was held at Holy Cross episcopal Church in Castro Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Interment was at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
