My Mother, Dorothy Olson Helgeson, was Marjorie's first cousin. Though my Mother's family moved from Wataga in 1910, contact was maintained through the years. Marjorie's parents visited our Minnesota home a number of times when I was a child. After my Mother's death in 1992 and my Dad's in 1994, I attended my first Olson Family Reunion in Galesburg. It was there I met Marjorie. My husband and I were very pleased to have had the opportunity to visit her in June and cherish the memories of our time together. We give thanks to God for her life.
