Marjorie Price Pittman

Former Clovis, New Mexico resident, Marjorie Price Pittman, 86, died November 6, 2010, at her home in Flower Mound, Texas.
Mrs. Pittman was born January 23, 1924, in Clovis, to Henry C. and Lorena Little Price.
Marjorie could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She graduated from Clovis High School at age 16, and moved to California where she was a floor supervisor for Grumman Aerospace. In 1949, she married the love of her life, US Navy Chief Petty Officer Edd R. Pittman. The storybook romance took the couple all over the world from Southern California to the South Pacific and back stateside to Northern California, Chicago, IL, Amarillo, TX, Dallas, TX, and Clovis, until Edd's death in 1988.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Pittman was a world class salesperson and was honored with numerous awards as top agent for Austin Realty Company in Chicago, IL. She was also honored as top salesperson for several insurance companies including Great Western Life.
Mrs. Pittman spent the last 15 years enjoying retirement in suburban Dallas, TX, with her sons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and sister, Jimmie Price Squire.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Douglas Pittman of Dallas, TX; sister, Darlene Price Hammond of Clovis; cousin, Betty Price Reiser of Clovis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound, TX. A graveside funeral service will held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
