SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Jackson Wilson, 80, will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:30 a.m., at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Reverend Murray Hodge, associate pastor of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson was born November 20, 1926 to Ernest and Hersey Jackson in Florence, Texas. She passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church, and a former kindergarten teacher of Morningside Baptist Church, where she taught for sixteen years.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Hershel and Raymond Jackson.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 59 years, Thomas Jefferson Wilson; son, Jeff T. Wilson and wife, Marilyn; daughter, Patricia Wilson Evans and husband, Bill; brother, Sherman Jackson and wife, Sarah; grandchildren, Sherri Taylor, Teresa Griffin, Stephanie Cheney, Wade Wilson and wife, Nicki, Chuck Wilson and wife, Renee; great-grandchildren, Bobby and Ashley Taylor and April Taylor Henshaw, Caden Wilson, Perry and Alexanderia Cheney, Chace, Caley Wilson, and Caden Henshaw.
