Mark Allan

Monroe - Mark Allan, 57, of Monroe, MI, passed away on June 23, 2023. He was born on May 10, 1966, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1984-1988. Mark was a unique, funny, and lovable person, known by many as a people person. He took pride in his businesses, especially in his most recent venture, Sit Means Sit of SE Michigan, where he was the owner and lead trainer.

Mark began his career at Allan Installation Service, where he worked alongside his father, who owned the company. He then worked at JcPenney, starting as an installer and working his way up to Sales Manager. Mark was very knowledgeable when it came to window treatments. Later, he founded Assured Services, which provided complete service of window treatments, sales, installation, cleaning, and repair.

Mark was an avid watcher of NASCAR, Cleveland Browns, and American Pickers. He also loved dogs, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. He always looked forward to his weekly dinner.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Amanda Cooper and Alicia Allan, his son-in-law, Brady Cooper, his grandchildren, Isaiah Hunter, Sophia Cooper, Madelyn Cooper, Matthew Levy, Kylee Levy, and his soon-to-be grandchild, Baby Cooper. He is also survived by his sisters, Dawn Allan and Deanna Valade, along with many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Allan, mother, Fran Lake, son, Justin Allan, and beloved dog, Tina.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Sit Means Sit, located at 15475 S. Telegraph Road in Monroe, MI. Food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
