Mark A. Derer

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Mark A. Derer, 59 passed away unexpectedly May 16, 2013. Mark was born in Akron and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1972 where he played basketball and was MVP for two years. He was owner of Mark Derer Tree Service and worked for City Yellow Cab. He was active in AA over the years. Preceded in death by his father, Gustav, he is survived by his loving daughter Kara (Tim) Stuhlmiller of Canton; mother, Elly Derer of PA; sister, Susan (Francis) Bormet of PA; nieces and nephew, Benjamin, Sara, and Bethany; lifelong friends Paul and Jill Burleson and his dearly loved dog Cubby. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday May 19 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Pastor Nelson Carter officiating.
