1973 – 2018
On April 25, 2018, Mark Edward Duffin was taken from all of us at the age of 45 years. Leaving behind his wife Bobbi Jo, daughter Taylor of Langdon, and his son Jacob of Edmonton; father Charlie; mother Louise; and sister Jennifer of Calgary. He will be missed by all of his Calgary Stampede brethren, everyone in the Auto Industry that had the pleasure of selling vehicles with him, as well as his many friends from the establishments that were privileged enough to have him behind the bar and the plethora of people he touched with his infectious smile and cowboy attitude. We all miss you brother! A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Messages of remembrance may be left for the family at www.southcalgaryfuneralcentre.ca. I met Mark when I was 5 years old. We became like brothers for more than a decade.
I will always be grateful for Mark's kindness and loyalty, his sense of fun and adventure, and his eternal optimism.
Mark had a kind of charisma that made people around him feel special. He was always surrounded by friends, and will be missed by many people.

Mark was a great man. When he was bar-tending at the lighthouse pub he made me feel like family. He remembered my name, what I drank, and always remembered where we left off in our conversations, even if we hadnt seen each other in weeks. He was...IS a great man who will be missed.
