Mark Anthony Edwards

Mark Anthony Edwards, 67, died peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Prescott, Arizona.

Born in Lansing, Illinois, on April 25, 1958, to Anthony Edwards and Dorothy Marie Grahovac, Mark spent most of his life in Illinois and some years in California, until 2011 when he fulfilled his dream to relocate to Arizona, where he spent his final years.

Mark was a free spirit, always determined to make his own path. He studied graphic design, ultimately building a business and portfolio of which he was most proud. Mark passed his natural creativity to his children and grandchildren, among whom are painters, musicians, cooks, and bakers. Mark loved to tell a good story, of which he had many, and was always up for a lively philosophical discussion. In his later years, Mark turned his paternal instincts to his final companion, Bear, his loyal border collie who he loved dearly and was always by his side.

Mark is survived by his six children: Michael, Melissa, Meaghan, Katie, Tera, and Miah; nine grandchildren: Elijah, Lewis, Wyatt, Jude, Lelah, Liam, Sophia, Esme, and TJ; and his two sisters, Beverly and Laura.

Services will be private, at the convenience of his children. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Arizona Border Collie Rescue.
