My condolences to family and friends. May you all find comfort in reading Ps 68:19,20 in this time of sorrow.

From the time I first met Mark in Los Angeles he always impressed me as a wonderful husband and father (at the time with just two toddlers). From all those who have known him in the years since, it's clear that he became even more of what he always was, a source of love and warmth ;and I know this is a painful loss for his family. my deepest condolences.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dear Mark, you are now with my beloved husband JiePie, both you were strong advocates for more research for MSA. Thanks for your endless courage in the passed. You will twinkel as a new born star above all of us. Rest in Peace.

Julia, Jeremy, Emily, David and your families - I worked for Mark at Westwood Lien services years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all truly blessed to have had this man as you husband and father.

Mark and I were close friends during our UCLA undergraduate years. I always enjoyed his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He was a good man then, and from what I have read of his loving family and friends, he clearly was a good man until the very end.

I'm glad I got to know Mark, even if it was late in his life. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mark, you are with my husband Dewayne now, who shed MSA 3 years ago Oct. 11.

Thinking of the Freifeld family during this difficult time. I'm so grateful I had the chance to meet Mr. Freifeld during your trips to visit Emily in Denmark and DC - what a wonderful man, whose light shines on in your family. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Mark lived life full-on and with such generosity of spirit! Ed & I were blessed to share some of his joie de vivre.

Mark, you were always so good with words and as I sit here trying to think of how to put into words the loss that we feel to know you are gone just don't seem to come to mind easy. My heart goes out to your family and know that you will be missed by your family of MSA friends.
