Dear Mrs. Grabowski, Galen, and Ali,

I am truly saddened to hear of his passing, and I will keep you all in my prayers. I hope that his memory will always be uplifting for you, and in some way he will always be there to guide you and to bring you to a place of safety and comfort- to provide a kind of grace that we sometimes experience from our closest friends and family and from those who are most beloved. God bless all four of you in this time, and bring you some measure of peace and comfort.

I wish you the best always.

“There, [in the eternal sabbath of heaven] we shall rest and we shall see, we shall see and we shall love, we shall love and we shall praise. Behold what will be in that end that is without end! For what is our end but to reach that kingdom which has no end” (St. Augustine, City of God, XXII, 30)

Linda, Ali & Galen,
You have my deepest sympathies. Mark was my cousin and even though we had not seen or spoken to one another for many years I do remember him fondly. My mother (his Aunt Dodie) passed last year so I know that you are missing him greatly.

Irene,
I am so sorry to hear about your son. We were in club together back in the 1960's when I lived on Old Ridge Road. I just never forgot you and am really sorry to learn of your sons death. No parent should lose a child, at any age. My heart goes out to you.
