Mark N. HALLQUIST

I think of Mark a lot thru the years.. Mark was truly one of the Best friends a person could ask for.. Whenever I pulled into shield St. At AMR Mark would be standing in the doorway of the mechanics bay wiping a wrench waiting for you to tell him what was wrong with the Ambulance. If nothing was wrong (which was most of the time) Mark would just break out in this smile that would turn any bodies bad day good. (Which in our business was a lot). Mark was a great guy.and I cherish the time I got to know him.. I think of and speak of him often..

I met mark a few times... The last time I saw him was at the Nickelback concert in April. I told my brother in law to invite him because I thought he was funny and I wanted fun people in the skybox. We joked around and it was just a great nite with great people, enjoying great music. R.I.P Mark.

Mark, you made light of some tough work days and you bailed me (and so many others) out of tight spots and malfunctioning trucks. You even managed to pull some fast ones on me when I was new. I was deeply saddend to hear of your passing. AMR just isn't the same and it never will be. You kept us safe by holding our ambulances together - and now we can only hope you'll be a guardian for us out on the road. Keep us on our toes my friend. We miss you.

We all have different journey's different paths along the way, we all were meant to learn some things but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place far greater then we know, for some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward and find an everlasting peace together with the Lord........

I am very sorry for your loss.Mark was one of my best friends whom I will dearly miss.Especialy on the Sundays over Rich Leclair`s house where we grilled,butchered deer and enjoyed each others company.The times we went to Cape Cod,they will not be the same.May you rest in peace forever.

To the entire Hallquist family,we all lost a wonderful person.Heaven has gained yet another angel.I will never forget this past summer we were all fishing with my niece`s and nephew`s and needless to say there was Mark helping the kids and even me bait the hook.Mark touched a lot of hearts and I just want to say "Thank You Mark". I was deeply saddened to read of Mark's death. He was a student of mine at Sunset Ridge School many years ago and I remember well his "smile" and sense of fun. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family. Mark was a good friend at work. We would talk about everything under the sun and play the lottery week. We always joke about what we would do with the winnings.. Mark will be missed by all who knew him .. GOD BLESS YOU BUDDY! !!

I was the first person Mark saw when he came through the doors of the building 18 years ago and got the application to work with us and I'll never forget the day; he came in with the biggest smile on his face, and had that same smile every day that I worked with him. What a wonderful, special guy he was. There was nothing he would not do for any of us, we could all count on him and I looked forward to seeing him at 3:00 pm every day. I'll miss his smile and his kind way. God bless your family at this sad time.
