The man. The myth. The legend. On May 30, 2018, Mark Keniston peacefully passed away surrounded by the many family and friends who were a part of his incredible life.
Mark was born in Pomona on November 26, 1948 to Royella and Robert Keniston. He and his younger brother Greg grew up in Ontario and attended Chaffey High School. After high school, he served our country in Vietnam. Years later, He met the love of his life, Anna Zwart (Keniston); their first date, led to hundreds more, 32 years of marriage,a blending of families, a new son, and an "oops" baby, a daughter. He retired from KNN Engineering in 2008 and spent his final years traveling in his motorhome with his number one gal.
Mark was known for his incredibly quick wit and dirty jokes, but most importantly, his immensely kind heart and authentic personality. As many have reiterated again and again, there was no one like him. He loved fast cars, women, pulling his signature dance moves, water skiing, flat bottom boats (no jets!), traveling, and spending time with his favorite people at the river. His pride and joy, however, were his children and his wife. He made it his duty to make sure that the days spent with them were never boring and always unpredictable.
The wild man is gone, but he's survived by his devoted wife Anna, son Sean Hasting (Beckie), daughter Kelsey Dabney (Sonny), brother Greg Keniston and family, grandson Cory Adkins, extended family, and MANY close friends.
