Dear Family of Mark, So sorry the transplant did not work. Also feel sad that I did not get to know Mark but cherish the short visits at the hospital in Owensboro. May God surround you all with his gentle care.

I had not seen Mark in a few years but have many found memories of him and all the cousins growing up and hanging at the cabin. I remember Mark as a kind and gentle soul. My heart breaks. First the five years of illness; then trying to get listed for transplant; then the joy of getting listed; fear of WHEN the liver would come; joy that it came, then such a sad day. You all have been brave and strong and I admire you!
